Areas of Application:

bayramix^® can be applied on all types of external and internal surfaces, as long as they are smooth and clean, including:

Surface Preparation, Mixing and Application

The application surface should be free of chemicals, moisture, efflorescence, dust, oil, and grease. Following steps are highly encouraged:

Protect and cover the areas you are working with.
Use protective gloves and glasses.
Empty the bayramix^® package containing the ready mixed paste into the bayramix^® plastic bucket.
Add 19 oz. (300 ml.) of clean water to the paste.
Mix thoroughly using an electric mixer for about 10 minutes until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
Wait for about 5 minutes before application.
Use a steel trowel to evenly spread the mixed paste about 1/8” thick over the clean, smooth and dry surface.
In about 15 minutes, re-glaze the surface with a clean wet trowel to smoothen the finish.

bayramix^® is easily applied rendering an excellent texture. The micro mineral size can also be applied using a standard spray gun with an 8 to 9 bar compressor.

bayramix^® requires no other tools, and the surface can always be smoothed with a humid steel trowel as long as it is still wet.
